i’m kind of obsessed with harpies so i made some harpie OCs that i’ll probably never draw again because that’s just kinda how OCs work with me yay

chechatonga’s name is a shawnee word meaning “hunter that moves through trees like wind” because she’s based off of birds of prey indigenous to north america. she’s ruthless and introverted by choice and is basically just a cold bitch that hates everything except ripping other life forms to shreds, sometimes just for fun lol. beija-flor’s name is portuguese for hummingbird. i chose portuguese because that’s one of the predominant languages in brazil and she’s based off of colorful birds of paradise (talkative, loud, loves to show off) indigenous to the amazon rainforest, but i decided hummingbird was still a fitting name because of her hyperactive personality
