I hadn’t heard anything about this, but I went to look now and… I’m fairly certain you’re just worried and not intending to hyperbolize anything by sending me this message, but it doesn’t look to me like that’s at all what it is? It just looks like they want to make their own Tarot project, which is literally what I was encouraging them to do in my previous response to them

We need more fan projects to help keep the community alive, and because it’s too late now into my own project to be able to accommodate their criticism towards the Major deck (though we’re asking for feedback right now on the Minor deck), if they have ideas they want to see come into fruition, I don’t see why they shouldn’t do it. Having two Tarot projects is better than one, and the source material is so huge that you could easily do two full decks with essentially no overlap whatsoever.

Anyway I endorse the idea, I don’t think it’s a “retaliation” or some kind of hostile attempt at competition or whatever, and I’d actually be really interested in participating (or otherwise promoting it). I get the feeling that I would probably not be welcome, though, and I wouldn’t want to make anyone angry by asking. So I think I’ll stay out of it and just be approving from afar and excited to see the results if it happens.
